Rotterdam

Reporting from a brief conversation with Brian this morning about his day trip to Rotterdam. He wanted to go to the Netherlands and Rotterdam was a little closer than Amsterdam. He said it is a gorgeous day. His main goal was to "sit by a canal" and he achieved that. He has not gone into any museums but keeps stumbling upon shopping areas with huge sales and hordes of people. Summer sales? Sidewalk days? Not sure if he bought anything today. Previously, he has very sweetly bought each of us three girls a welcome gift for our arrival next week. I think it is nice that he is able to go to a few additional cities while he's there for the extra three weeks.
